Speak is one of the best young adult novel written by Laurie Halse Anderson and was published in 1999. The story of the novel revolves around a high school freshman Melinda Sordino. The story of the novel starts for unfortunately busting an end to a summer party because of the unknown accident, Melinda is treated badly by her peers because she can’t express why she called the police.
